The collection

At the last floor of the Dal Verme Castle there's a collection of contemporary art works which continues to grow thanks to the artists' donations made after the temporary exhibitions. People can see this museum, opened in 2003, following the guided tours to the Dal Verme Castle.
Here you can see important art works: you can find artists like Ernesto Treccani, Alessandro Spadari, Silvia Rastelli, Aldo Gambuzzi, Bruno Gianesi, Gianfranco Rontani; there's also a painting from Giuseppe Dal Verme, the most ancient of all.
This Museum is dedicated to Earl Giuseppe Dal Verme and his wife Titina Gavazzi: this is to thank their great love for this castle and for art.

The sections

The Museum has two sections: the first contains paintings and graphics since 2003; the second one contains the sculptures realized by Aldo Gambuzzi, whose family donated more than 40 works to the Museum in 2010.
At the present, the Museum contains more than 70 art works.

The new exhibition

In 2011 the Museum has renewed his exhibit, thanks to the contribution from Regione Lombardia.
The new exhibition is flexible, to adapt to the caracters of this Museum, which permanent collection increases every year.
